painted pate with real hair queue,firmly stuffed muslin body. Condition: generally excellent.
Comments: Shanghai Door of Hope mission doll,circa 1920. the doll is wearing polished cotton
robe with inner flaps over white shirt,black vest,blue leggings,black silk slippers and hat. Value
Points: rare whitened complexion is original,the doll was acquired by the Cleveland Museum of
Art in 1929.
