16" (41 cm.) All cloth doll with pressed and oil painted facial features and hair,short brown hair with defined curls,shaded brown eyes,thick brown and black upper eyeliner,accented nostrils,closed mouth with pouting expression,stitch-jointing at shoulders,disc-jointed hips. Condition: good,original finish with paint worn away on nose tip and left forehead spot. Comments: Kathe Kruse,series I,circa 1915. Value Points: especially fine pressed modeling of features lending highly characterized expression,original fine painting albeit with wear,antique costume.
