8" (20 cm.) woman. Each has simply carved wooden head with defined and painted facial features,painted hair,wooden block torso,wire upper arms and legs,carved wooden lower limbs. Condition: very good/excellent. Comments: early 19th century,depicted is man,woman,and two younger boys (pages?) each wearing original very elaborate costume in rich brocades and velvets with lavish metallic braids and appliques,lace trim.
