24" (61 cm.) Bisque swivel head on kid-edged bisque shoulder plate with lovely delicate
bisque,blue glass enamel inset eyes,dark painted eye liner,painted lashes,rose blushed eye
shadow,widely arched feathered brows,accented eye corners,shaded nostrils,closed mouth with
shaded lips,pierced ears,dark blonde mohair wig in original elaborate coiffure,kid gusset-jointed
poup_e body with stitched and separated fingers and toes. Condition: generally excellent,few
small patches on kid at joints. Marks: F.G. 8 (head and shoulder plate). Comments: Gaultier,circa
1875. Value Points: very beautiful larger poup_e with original coiffure owns her original
couturier-made (very frail) satin wedding gown along with original undergarments including
petticoat with extended train,and along with a later replica of the original gown.
