4.5" (11 cm.) One piece all bisque figure of mischievous googly sculpted with egg-shaped
costume arranged as though he is popping out of an egg shell,having Kewpie like features of
top-knot,painted side-glancing googly eyes,impish smile,starfish-shaped fingers. Condition:
generally excellent. Marks: Elfie Germany Reg. No 630987 37 ??5 (original red paper label on
torso). Comments: Germany,circa 1920s,possibly Seyfarth and Reinhardt who registered the
trademark "Elfe" (sic) in 1922. Value Points: rare and delightfully charming Kewpie-like figure
preserved with original label.
