16" (41 cm.) Pale bisque swivel head on kid-edged bisque shoulder plate,plump facial modeling,cobalt blue glass enamel inset eyes,dark eyeliner and curly lashes,lightly feathered brows,accented nostrils and eye corners,closed mouth with outlined lips,ears pierced into head,brunette mohair wig over cork pate,French kid gusset-jointed body with shapely torso and stitched and separated fingers. Condition: generally excellent. Marks: 3 (head and shoulders). Comments: in the Barrois manner,circa 1860. Value Points: most appealing very pale complexion with rich cobalt eyes,sturdy body,beautiful antique costume.
