11" (28 cm.) Bisque shoulder head with low extended shoulder plate,very angular face sculpted leaning upward and to the right,elongated strong throat,painted blue upper and side-glancing eyes,red and black upper eyeliner,single stroke brows,slender nose with accented nostrils,closed mouth with pursed lips,brunette mohair wig,slender original muslin wrapped body in the flapper era style,bisque lower arms and legs,elegantly shaped fingers,painted black stockings and black heeled shoes,wearing antique black velvet dress with fine lace overlay and velvet floral spray. Condition: generally excellent. Comments: French,circa 1920,the model was created during the era of Renaissance of the French Doll,considered a fashion doll,and having sculpted holes in feet for positioning on pronged stand (not included). Value Points: rare model with exaggerated pose and painting,original body and limbs,original costume of the era.
