9" (23 cm.) Solid domed bisque socket head with sculpted short blonde boyish hair,intaglio blue eyes,red and black upper eyeliner,short feathered brows,accented nostrils,closed mouth modeled as though open and laughing,two beaded lower teeth,carton body form with wheeled base,composition arms,cotton baby dress. Condition: generally excellent,mechanism functions well,finger damaged on one hand. Marks: Heubach (sunburst) 7604. Comments: Heubach,circa 1910,probably for Zinner and Sohne,when wound the little doll propels forward and in circles as though walking. Value Points: hard to find mechanical doll whose facial expression is perfectly apt for the motion.
