20" (51 cm.) Sculpted wooden head with elongated oval face,elongated throat,sculpted brown
hair with deeply defined flowing curls,small enamel eyes with heavily sculpted eyelids,painted
brows,aquiline nose,closed mouth with accent line between the lips,hemp-wrapped wire
armature body with carved wooden hands and feet,original silk gown with metallic thread
embroideries,metallic headdress. Condition: generally excellent,some finger tips broken.
Comments: Continental,early 19th century. Value Points: superb sculpting especially of
eyes,throat hollow,hair,original painting is well preserved. From the archives of the Cleveland
