2.5" (6 cm.) gosho-ningyo. Wood composite with shell white (gofun) overall complexion depicting a kneeling child,wearing Zukin cap,bib and holding toy; along with two isho-ningyo as young boy and girl,each with wire framed arms for posing,enamel eyes,slightly tinted complexion,hair wig,and original costumes and stands. Condition: flaking to gofun,some fraility to costumes of children. Comments: Japan,mid-Edo era of Gosho,Meiji era two children. Value Points: endearing expressions of charm,fine detail of costumes.
