features,inset glass eyes,silk fiber hair,mounted on a tall dark wood base,wearing silk brocade
textiles,lacquered paper armor,tiger pelt sword at hip,bow in left hands,arrow quiver at back.
Condition: generally excellent. Comments: Japan,Showa era,1930s,the figure depicts the much
beloved Momotaro (the Peach Boy) in military regalia as he leads his forces of the dog,rooster
and monkey to attach the island of the ogres. Value Points: appealing legendary figure with fine
costume and accessory detail.
