33" (84 cm.) 7" shoulder head. Thick paste shoulder head with hand-pressed detail,black
sculpted hair waved loosely away from face into pageboy curls at the back and a loosely woven
braid framing the face below the ears,painted blue eyes,red and black eyeliner,thick stroke
brows,circle accents at eye corners and nostrils,closed mouth with gentle smile on full lips,old
muslin stitch-jointed body,wearing black silk dress,undergarments,early black kid shoes.
Condition: generally excellent. Comments: Germany,circa 1860. Value Points: rare early model
with superbly detailed coiffure,hand pressed sculpting enhanced by soft rose tinting of
complexion.
