12" (30 cm.) Pale bisque shoulder head with painted blue eyes,painted lashes and
brows,accented nostrils and eye corners,black upper eyeliner,closed mouth with center accented
lips,ears pierced into head,blonde mohair wig captured under original cap and coiffure,kid
poupee body with gusset jointing at hips,mitten hands. Condition: generally excellent.
Comments: French,circa 1870,Value Points: the petite early poupee wears her original costume
of Normandy with homespun striped skirt decorated with embroidered velvet bands,silk
apron,muslin collar and coiffe with long streamers over fitted cap.
