10" (25 cm.) Solid domed porcelain swivel head with black sculpted hair cropped closely to his head and accented with delicate feathering around the face, painted blue teeth, black and red upper eyeliner, tiny one-stroke brows, closed mouth, blushed cheeks, porcelain upper and lower torso with muslin midriff, fabric upper arms and legs, porcelain lower limbs, hands folded into small fists, painted black boots, antique costume of young lad. Condition: generally excellent, lower legs may be restored. Comments: Germany, circa 1855. Value Points: rare taufling model with especially rare swivel head, wonderful expression and sculpting of hair.
