Sculpted shoulder head depicting aged man with bald pate,elongated face with sculpted age lines,sculpted long flowing beard,enamel eyes,sculpted grey brows and moustache,hemp-wrapped armature body,sculpted hands and lower legs with defined fingers and torso,painted yellow stockings with decorative borders. Condition: generally excellent. Comments: Neopolitan,early 19th century. Value Points: superbly sculpted face and beard,wearing original costume of wealthy aristocrat with gold thread trimmed garb,gilded tin crown on turban.
