14" (36 cm.) Solid domed bisque shoulder head with pink tinted bisque,brown brush-stroked
painted hair with sculpted details at the forehead,painted squinting blue eyes with heavily
modeled eye lids,one stroke brown brows,accented nostrils,closed mouth modeled as though
open,muslin body,bisque hands,well costumed in sailor suit. Condition: generally excellent.
Marks: 5 Germany Heubach (in square) 7843. Comments: Gebruder Heubach,circa 1912. Value
Points: rare model with wonderful characterization of crying child with scrunched up crying
expression,deeply impressed eye and mouth crinkles,excellent bisque.
