15" (38 cm.) Carved wooden socket head with painted facial features,deeply sculpted facial
characterization,brown intaglio eyes,white eyedots,rounded nose with accented nostrils,closed
mouth with very full petulant lips,all wooden fully-spring-jointed body. Condition: good,original
condition with some complexion fading,nose rub,forehead deep scratch,body finish worn.
Marks: (Schoenhut incised mark). Comments: Schoenhut,made 1911-1912 only,the rare model
was marketed as "Tootsie-Wootsie". Value Points: among the rarest of the Schoenhut characters
with excellent quality of sculpting.
