14" (36 cm.) Carved wooden socket head with carved hair in short curls that tumble onto forehead, intaglio brown eyes with white eye dots, smoky eye shadow, feathered brows, accented nostrils, closed mouth with accent line between the full lips, all-wooden spring-jointed body with holes in feet for positioning. Condition: generally excellent. Marks: (Schoenhut incised mark). Comments: Schoenhut, the model 207,made for three or four years only, about 1912-1916, in this size only. Value Points: pristine original condition of the rare and most appealing character, superb painting and carving, wearing original overalls, shirt, Schoenhut button,(very worn) Schoenhut shoes, and having original Schoenhut metal stand.
