21" (53 cm.) Pressed bisque swivel head on bisque shoulder plate with defined bosom and
shoulder blades,deep blue glass paperweight inset eyes,dark eyeliner encircles the eye
sockets,painted dark lashes,mauve blushed eye shadow,slightly modeled brush-stroked and
feathered brows,accented eye corners and shaded nostrils,closed mouth with shaded and
outlined lips,dimpled chin,pierced ears,blonde mohair wig over cork pate,French kid bebe
body with kid over wooden upper arms,bisque forearms,Chevrot hinged hips,wooden jointed
lower legs,wearing beautiful ice blue silk frock with cotton trim,lace
bonnet,undergarments,knit stockings,white kidskin shoes. Condition: generally
excellent,tiniest pinflake on upper left eyelid. Marks: Bru Jne 10 (head and shoulder plate).
Comments: Leon Casimir Bru,circa 1886. Value Points: beautiful model of the classic Bru Jne
with finest quality of bisque enhanced by deep sculpting especially around mouth,lovely
