24" (61 cm.) Bisque socket head,large brown glass paperweight inset eyes,dark eyeliner,painted
lashes,brushstroked brows with feathered detail,accented nostrils,closed mouth with accented
lips,pierced ears,brunette human hair over cork pate,French composition and wooden fully-
jointed body,antique costume. Condition: generally excellent,finish on hands and upper legs
retouched. Marks: Paris Bebe Tete Depose 11 (head stamp). Comments: the Paris Bebe model
created by Jumeau after winning depose lawsuit against Danel & Cie who had copied the Jumeau
bebe; in winning the lawsuit Jumeau earned the sole right to the Paris Bebe name,circa 1892.
Value Points: unusually pretty model of Danel's Paris Bebe with character like expression,finest
quality of bisque.
