8" (20 cm.) x 8" x 6". A wooden framed box with curved front is paper covered and hinges open
to reveal a well-fitted interior with gilt-edged mirror,porcelain wash bowl and pitcher with rose
borders and flowers,along with matching bowl and 3 matching lidded boxes,with
comb,brush,and various toiletry bottles; a lower drawer contains 9 additional accessories. For
the French market,the presentation articles appeared in luxury doll stores such as Au Nain Bleu
as well as Etrennes catalogs of Paris department store,circa 1885. Excellent condition.
