35" (89 cm.) Paper mache head with sculpted and artistically painted facial features,side-
glancing eyes,closed mouth,blushed details of complexion,auburn mohair wig in elaborate
arrangement,stockinette body,wearing artist-made costume of green velvet and satin with lace
bodice. Condition: generally excellent. Comments: Bernard and Frances Ravca,the French artist
couple created this one-of-a-kind historical model,circa 1940. Value Points: portrait doll of the
historical figure with well-rendered likeness,superb costuming including a plethora of
ornaments and "jewels".
