Description
8.5" (22 cm.) doll. 14" x 9" box. A heavy cardboard box with decorative papers opens to reveal a
triple compartment interior,the center compartment with little bisque doll having sleep
eyes,open mouth,four tiny teeth,brunette mohair wig,five piece body,and wearing antique
costume,and the other compartments each presenting an additional costume with accessories.
Condition: generally excellent. Marks: made in Germany Armand Marseille 390 A 11/0 M.
Comments: circa 1920,the presentation box was offered as an exclusive luxury object to
clientele of an unknown doll store. Value Points: well preserved presentation doll with intact
contents.
