11" (28 cm.) Bisque socket head with very plump face,very large blue glass paperweight inset
eyes,dark lushly painted lashes,thick dark eyeliner,brush-stroked and feathered brows,accented
nostrils and eye corners,closed mouth with outlined lips,pierced ears,blonde lambswool
wig,French composition and wooden fully-jointed body with straight wrists,nicely costumed in
the French bebe manner. Condition: generally excellent,body is appropriate and of the same era
albeit not original. Marks: F.G. (scroll) 2 (head) Jumeau Medaille d'Or Paris (body). Comments:
Gaultier Freres,circa 1888. Value Points: wonderfully expressive features with large eyes
enhanced by dramatic lashes and brows.
