Pressed bisque swivel head on kid-edged bisque shoulder plate,pale blue glass enamel inset eyes,black curly lashes,feathered brows,accented nostrils and eye corners,closed mouth with smiling expression,accented pale lips,pierced ears,wheat blonde hand-tied human hair wig over cork pate,French kid and wooden poupee body with square cut collarette,gusset- jointing,wooden arms and hands with dowel jointing at shoulders,elbows and wrists. Condition: generally excellent,one baby finger tip missing. Marks: F. Comments: Leon Casimir Bru,circa 1872,his deposed smiling poupee model inspired by Empress Eugenie,with original Bru poupee body in rare variation. Value Points: very beautiful near pristine poupee with lovely dreamy expression,fine bisque,sturdy original body,costume included.
