35" (89 cm.) Paper mache head with sculpted features of the English queen,painted facial
features,green/grey eyes,rose blushed eye shadow,closed mouth,auburn mohair wig in lavish
arrangement ornamented with many "jewels",all stockinette body,costumed in lavish silk and
velvet gown with a multitude of royal "jewels". Condition: generally excellent. Marks: Original
Ravca (paper label,inscribed Elizabeth I). Comments: portrait of the British queen by the French
doll artist team,Bernard and Frances Ravca,circa 1940. Value Points: one-of-a-kind exhibition
