Description
5" (13 cm.) Classic standing all-bisque Kewpie with loop-jointed arms has overpainted facial
features and hair including thick black eyeliner and lashes and black bobbed hair; wearing an
antique silk costume of Chinese child including pom-pom trimmed cap and rich ribbon
embroidery. Excellent condition. Marked "O'Neill" on feet. Rare model with commissioned
costume and painting original to the doll and wonderfully detailed,circa 1915.
