20" (51 cm.) Bisque shoulder head with deeply comb-marked black sculpted hair waved away
from face and behind the ears in casual finger curls,painted bright blue eyes,red and black upper
eyeliner,single stroke black brows,accented nostrils and eye corners,closed mouth with center
accent line and impressed dimples at lip corners,muslin stitch-jointed body with leather
arms,wearing black silk dress with bead decoration,undergarments,leather slippers. Condition:
generally excellent,darkened seam line on left shoulder. Comments: Germany,circa 1875. Value
Points: the rare model combines matte complexion of bisque with brilliantly glazed highlights of
rare coiffure,having stippling details at the forehead.
