Description
8" (20 cm.) Bisque swivel head on kid-edged bisque torso,very plump facial features,large blue
glass eyes,short painted lashes,lightly feathered brows,accented nostrils and eye corners,tiny
closed mouth,peg-jointed bisque arms and legs,curved elbows and expressively posed
fingers,very muscular shaped legs with tiny ankles,painted white ribbed stockings and yellow
ankle boots with black tips,heels and laces,antique costume. Condition: generally excellent.
Comments: Kestner,circa 1885,the model known as "French wrestler" in reference to muscular
body style. Value Points: among the rarest of the all-bisque models,in fine large size with well
painted features,yellow boots.
