34" (86 cm.) Bisque socket head, blue glass paperweight inset eyes, dark eyeliner, painted lashes, thick brush-stroked and feathered brows, accented nostrils, shaded nostrils, slightly parted lips with accented and shaded painting, row of porcelain teeth, separately modeled pierced ears, blonde mohair wig over cork pate, French composition and wooden fully-jointed body with very plump limbs. Condition: generally excellent. Marks: 15 (head) Bebe Jumeau SGDG Depose (torso). Comments: Emile Jumeau, circa 1895. Value Points: having finest quality of bisque and painting, original wig, body, body finish, the doll wears an extraordinary ivory silk satin wedding gown with extended train, along with veil and floral coronet, undergarments, cream kidskin shoes, and has bouquet of silk and wax orange blossom flowers; the doll is in pristine unplayed with condition.
