16" (43 cm.) Bisque socket head depicting a pouting girl,painted facial features,brown upper
glancing eyes,thick black upper eyeliner,one stroke tapered brows,accented nostrils and eye
corners,closed mouth with downcast expression on the very full lips,brunette mohair
wig,composition and wooden ball-jointed body. Condition: generally excellent,few typical wig
pulls. Marks: K*R 114 43. Comments: the model marketed by Kammer and Reinhardt as
"Gretchen" from their art character reform series,circa 1910. Value Points: excellent detail of
sculpting and soft matte bisque that complements the brown eyes,antique costume.
