19" (48 cm.) Bisque socket head,brown glass sleep eyes,painted curly lashes,thick brush-stroked
and feathered brows,accented nostrils and eye corners,open mouth,shaded and outlined
lips,four porcelain teeth,pierced ears,blonde mohair curly wig,composition and wooden ball-
jointed body,burgundy velvet suit and lace jabot,leather shoes. Condition: generally excellent.
Marks: S&H Germany Santa. Comments: Simon and Halbig for Hamburger and Co,circa 1900.
Value Points: original body and body finish,very fine detail of sculpting especially around
eyes,philtrum,dimpled chin,and impressed dimple in lower lip.
