15" (38 cm.) Pressed bisque socket head, almond shaped brown glass paperweight inset eyes, thick dark eyeliner, painted curly lashes, rose blushed eye shadow, brush-stroked and feathered brows, accented nostrils and eye corners, closed mouth with defined space between the shaded and outlined lips, tiny tongue tip, pierced ears, blonde mohair wig over cork pate, kid gusset-jointed bebe body according to original Bru depose, bisque forearms. Condition: generally excellent. Marks: 3 (right shoulder). Comments: Bru, circa 1880, the model transitions beautifully with features of both brevete and circle dot models in its facial sculpting. Value Points: very dear and captivating facial expression, fine quality of bisque, original sturdy body, perfect bisque hands, lovely antique lace costume and bonnet.
