Description
15" (38 cm.) x 11" x 7". The wooden framed room with built in faux-fireplace, carved paneling and four-paned window is filled with 25 silver miniatures, each of solid silver and each bearing hallmarks; including desks, piano, paintings, birdcage, spinning wheel, fireplace accoutrements, chandelier, grandfather clock, and more. Described as "authentic reproductions of antique Dutch furniture" the room was offered as complete or as individual pieces of silver, circa 1980; an accompanying price list at that time indicates such prices as $220 for the clock and $80 for the chandelier. Included are original paper documents and articles about the pieces. Excellent condition. Circa 1980.
