11" (28 cm.) Paper mache head sculpted to depict a smiling girl with blonde sculpted hair
captured by a sculpted white Dutch cap trimmed with blue,painted facial features,blue eyes,row
of teeth between painted lips,loosely jointed all-wooden body with painted blue stockings and
shoes,with screw attachment at back torso for use with original wooden-handled cast iron
arched hook,allowing the doll to "dance" freely. Condition: generally excellent. Comments:
Schoenhut,circa 1915. Value Points: rare American toy in perfectly preserved
condition,wonderfully characterized face,original cloth costume.
