Description
8" (20 cm.) A bisque-headed boy with black painted hair and painted facial features,having
carton body,wooden arms,block wooden and wire legs under sewn on costume,metal feet,is
seated upon an iron three-wheeled cycle with two large spoked wheels in the back and a smaller
in front from which the pedals protrude. A mechanism is balanced in a covered compartment
between the two larger wheels,and when wound,the boy pedals vigorously,and the cycle moves
forward and in circles. Condition: generally excellent. Comments; attributed to Vichy,circa 1860.
Value Points: wonderful early toy,the doll wearing its original silk costume and cap.
