21" (53 cm.) Carved wooden socket head, carved hair in short bobbed style with bangs and carved pink hair band, intaglio sculpted brown eyes with white eye-dots, feathered brows, accented nostrils, closed mouth with solemn expression, all wooden spring-jointed body, antique dress, undergarments and shoes. Condition: original finish well preserved on face and hair, body finish original albeit worn. Marks: (incised Schoenhut mark). Comments: Schoenhut, the firm's model 105, introduced in 1912 and made in this larger size for less than 4 years. Value Points: rare large size of the rare model, with pleasing patina on the wonderfully sculpted features.
