Socket head with elongated facial modeling,painted complexion and facial features,shaded blue eyes,black eyeliner,grey shaded eye shadow,feathered brows,elongated nose,closed mouth,blushed cheeks,brunette human hair in bobbed fashion,all cloth body with stitch-jointed arms and legs,wearing maroon wool coat and cap with lambswool edging that appears original,dress,undergarments,shoes. Condition: very good,original finish is well preserved with few rubs,one elbow patched. Marks: Dora Petzold Registered Trademark Doll Germany. Comments: Dora Petzold,the German artist who re-invigorated the art character movement in the 1930s. Value Points: rarely found studio doll with very expressive features,original painted finish.
