20" (51 cm.) Rounded facial shape with shaved golden mohair cover,protruding rounded snout
with black embroidery,closely set shoe-button eyes,large rounded ears,swivel head,pronounced
hump back,chubby elongated torso,disc-jointed elongated arms,hip-jointed short legs with
large feet,felt paw pads. Excellent condition. The early model of Ideal's American teddy,designed
by Morris and Rose Michtom and sold from their Brooklyn novelty and stationer's store,circa
1907. Excellent condition,slight mohair sparseness on snout,one moth hole in left paw pad.
