8" (20 cm) Bisque socket head, blue glass sleep eyes, long curly lashes ,short feathered brows, accented nostrils and eye corners, open mouth, four porcelain teeth, brunette mohair bobbed wig, five piece composition toddler body with "starfish"-shaped fingers, wearing original well-detailed folklore costume with embroidered and braid detail, original undergarments and shoes. Condition: generally excellent. Marks: K*R Simon & Halbig 126 Germany 21. Comments: Kammer and Reinhardt, circa 1915, a series of the little toddlers were costumed exclusively for Mathes of Berlin, wearing folklore costumes of European regions. Value Points: fine detail of costume, rare body style, great facial modeling including dimples.
