Description
10" (25 cm.) Amber tinted bisque swivel head on kid-edged bisque torso, narrow brown glass sleep eyes, painted lashes and short feathered brows, accented nostrils, slightly parted lips, modeled teeth, black human hair, loop-jointed amber-tinted bisque arms and legs in bent baby pose. Condition: generally excellent except right arm imperceptibly reglued at elbow. Marks: Simon & Halbig 921 JAP Germany 23 (head) 1126 23 (torso, legs and arms). Comments: Simon and Halbig, circa 1913. Value Points: very rare model in fine large size with superb quality of bisque and painting.
