21" (53 cm.) Carved wooden socket head with highly defined sculpting of facial features, very large intaglio blue eyes with large black upper glancing pupils and white eyedots,well-defined eyelids, outlined eyes, lightly feathered brows, accented nostrils and eye corners, closed mouth with defined space between the lips, grooved lower lip, original tacked on blonde mohair bobbed wig, all-wooden spring jointed body, antique costume in the Schoenhut manner. Condition: generally excellent. Marks: (incised Schoenhut mark). Comments: Schoenhut, their model 308, circa 1917. Value Points: outstanding quality of sculpting on the rare large version of 308 with well-preserved original painting, original wig.
