15" (38 cm.) Pressed bisque socket head,dark blue glass paperweight inset eyes,dark
eyeliner,painted lashes,brush-stroked and feathered brows,mauve blushed eye shadow,accented
nostrils and eye corners,closed mouth with defined space between the shaded lips,pierced
ears,blonde mohair wig,composition and wooden early body in the Schmitt manner with straight
wrists,nicely costumed. Condition: generally excellent,body is appropriately sized and of the
period,albeit not original. Marks: Sch (shield) . Comments: Schmitt et Fils,circa 1884. Value
Points: very lovely cabinet size bebe with long-faced modeling and beautiful quality bisque.
