7" (18 cm.) Bisque swivel head on kid-edged bisque torso, large cobalt blue glass inset eyes, thick dark eyeliner, painted lashes, feathered brows, accented nostrils and eye corners, closed mouth with accent line between the lips, blonde mohair wig, peg-jointed bisque arms and legs with painted pink stockings and black two-strap heeled shoes, antique silk boy's Sunday Best costume and hat. Condition: generally excellent. Marks: 2 (head and torso). Comments: for the French market, circa 1884. Value Points: wonderfully-expressive large eyes and richly-painted features on the early all-bisque with rare pink-painted stockings and silk costume.
