Description
4" (10 cm.) One piece bisque head and torso, brown sculpted hair in curly bobbed fashion with high topknot, painted blue side- glancing eyes, brown upper eyeliner, wide beaming smile on closed mouth, pin-jointed bisque arms and legs, painted black socks and brown ankle boots. Condition: generally excellent. Comments: Germany, circa 1915,"Moritz" based upon the character in the 19th century children's stories by Wilhelm Busch and later presented as The Katzenjammer Kids. Value Points: rare miniature with well-modeled features and original cloth costume.
