Description
8" (20 cm.) One piece all-bisque standing Kewpie with classic topknot, forelock, blue wings, right side-glancing eyes, thickly fringed lashes, closed mouth, loop-jointed arms. Condition: generally excellent. Marks: O'Neill (feet). Comments: Germany, circa 1915, designed by Rose O'Neill. Value Points: the little googly is wearing antique silk costume with matching green knit cap and carrying two knit sacks.
