Felt swivel head with pressed and painted facial features, brown side-glancing narrowed eyes in side-slant sockets, heavily-modeled eyelids, black curly lashes, black eyeliner, black feathered brows, accented nostrils, closed mouth, black mohair wig with extended queue, jointing at shoulders and hips. Condition: generally excellent, light dustiness. Marks: Lenci 300/59 (original paper label). Comments: Lenci, the model appeared in the firm's 1930, series, 300, model 59, presented as a partner with the following doll, Asian girl. Value Points: rare character, although numbered in the 300 series, with variations of facial sculpture and painting of features, amber tinted complexion, wearing vibrant yellow felt tunic and pants with orange trim, black felt vest with signature medallion, wooden stacked shoes, original woven hat, and carries original wooden lantern with painted decorations and paper panel inserts.
