8.5" (22 cm.) Classic standing Kewpie with modeled topknot, forelock, blue wings, right side-glancing googly eyes, jointed arms. Condition: generally excellent. Marks: O'Neill (feet). Comments: Kewpie, designed by Rose O'Neill, made in Germany, circa 1910. Value Points: fine larger size with very lovely bisque and painting, blushed details overall.
