4.5" (11 cm.) Classic all-bisque standing Kewpie with jointed arms, topknot, forelock, blue wings, right-side glancing googly eyes, wearing a knit head scarf with red pom-poms. Condition: generally excellent. Marks: O'Neill. Comments: designed by Rose O'Neill, made in Germany, circa 1915. Value Points: the whimsically costumed Kewpie has two original paper labels.
