Description
3" (8 cm.) Little seated Kewpie with right-glancing googly eyes, topknot, forelock, blue wings, is clasping a mandolin, and is posed upon a seat at the edge of a round blue dish designed to appear as a small pond. Condition: generally excellent. Marks: c (circle). Comments: Germany, circa 1915, from designs by Rose O'Neill. Value Points: well-rendered details on the rare miniature novelty.
